Kristin McGinnis, Director of Communications for Auctoris, was awarded the 2018 Volunteer of the Year Award from Colorado Planned Giving Roundtable (CPGR). The award recognized her outstanding leadership and service on the Summer Symposium and Marketing Committees.
Kristin served on the Summer Symposium Committee as the lead for Facilities, working with her team on designing & coordinating the contract/BEO with the hotel, planning all meals, and coordinating the details for the networking lunches and networking reception. She also combined her marketing skills to create the impressive sponsor slideshow that was broadcast throughout the Symposium. For the Marketing Committee, Kristin led a team of volunteers for social media outreach, coordinating topics and content for all CPGR’s social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. She also launched the CPGR YouTube page in August 2018 and worked with the Marketing team to get more than a dozen member testimonial videos filmed for the page.
CPGR is a nonprofit organization which provides a forum for the exchange of planned giving ideas in the Rocky Mountain region and it is operated almost entirely by volunteers. Their mission is: Inspiring our community to increase the quantity and the quality of charitable planned gifts to nonprofit organizations. We accomplish this through: quality education, increased awareness, and networking opportunities.
